Ukraine’s Ministry of Community and Territorial Development, in a Telegram update, said the attack started a fire aboard the ship that was quickly extinguished, with no casualties reported.

The vessel was traveling to ports in the Odesa region to load corn when it was struck, and continued to its destination after the attack.
“A Russian drone hit a civilian merchant ship under the Liberian flag, which was heading along the sea corridor to load corn,” the update says.
