The Swedish Ministry of Defense (FMV) has ordered systems and equipment to counter drones as part of the implementation of the new Gute II concept for the amount of 8.7 billion Swedish kronor (approximately 756 million euros), according to a statement from FMV.
In particular, the Tridon Mk2 anti-drone system from BAE Systems Bofors with a truck-based 40 mm anti-aircraft gun, the Trackfire combat module from Saab with a 30 mm gun, a control system and passive and active sensors, including the Giraffe 1X radar, as well as transport platforms and electronic warfare equipment, including SISU vehicles and electronic countermeasure systems, have been ordered.
