As part of the Eurosatory 2026 international defence exhibition in Paris, SPIDER-AI was presented, a new autonomous unmanned aircraft C-UAS interceptor system jointly developed by the Cypriot SignalGeneriX and the French Aerix Systems.

The presentation was hosted at the Cyprus Pavilion, marking the first tangible result of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between the two companies in November 2025, aiming to jointly develop advanced autonomous defence systems.

SPIDER-AI is a complete solution for countering hostile drones, combining Aerix Systems’ AXS-S1 interceptor platform with SignalGeneriX’s SGX EDGE-AI mission computer. The system is designed for rapid response, autonomous operation, and next-generation UAV countermeasures.
