ASELSAN, Turkey’s leading defence firm, successfully demonstrated its counter-UAV capabilities over a two-day live event in Ankara. Attended by both Turkish and international media, along with delegations from 20 countries, the event showcased the company’s skill in detecting, tracking, and neutralising multiple UAV threats in a coordinated operational scenario. The demonstration included wirelessly controlled drones, fibre-optic-controlled drones, and drones operating in swarm formations, all of which were detected and monitored through ASELSAN’s integrated command-and-control system.
ASELSAN’s Drone Defence System (DRONDEF) is an AI-supported integrated anti-UAV system. The DRONEDEF system, capable of neutralising mini- and micro-UAV threats, has a detection range of 10 km and includes both physical and functional subsystems with a layered architecture.
