The UK-based company will deliver its A800 Mk2 4D multi-mode radars alongside its BlighterNexus software, with the systems intended to monitor land, sea and low-altitude airspace along vulnerable border regions. The radars are designed to detect, classify and track targets simultaneously across multiple domains at ranges of up to 20 km, according to the company.
The contract follows a previous award from the same customer and reflects ongoing efforts to strengthen border surveillance. As with the earlier order, the radar systems will be deployed at fixed locations and integrated onto army reconnaissance vehicles.
Blighter said the A800 Mk2 radar was selected for its ability to operate in multiple modes, allowing it to monitor ground movements, maritime activity and airborne threats at the same time.
