“Critical equipment was destroyed at production facilities,” the company said in a statement.
Personnel at one of the targeted facilities were evacuated, and no casualties were reported, according to Naftogaz.
Emergency services are continuing to assess the damage.
Chernihiv regional governor Viacheslav Chaus said Russian forces also carried out a series of attacks across the region overnight and into Tuesday.
At around 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Russian forces also launched a ballistic missile strike on central Pryluky in the Chernihiv region.
The strike hit a business facility, damaging a shopping center, supermarket, and firefighting equipment nearby.
“At this moment, two people are known to have been killed. At least 17 people were wounded, including a 14-year-old child,” Chaus said.
Later Suspilne reported, that the teenager was critically wounded and died in hospital after the strike. He had been walking near an Epicenter shopping center when the missile hit, suffering severe shrapnel wounds to his back and abdomen. The death toll from the morning attack has now risen to three.
On Monday evening, Russia also attacked the city of Chernihiv with jet-powered Geran drones, causing two explosions.
One strike hit the grounds of an enterprise, igniting a fuel truck, while another targeted a residential area, damaging homes and a passenger vehicle.
An 84-year-old woman and a 58-year-old man were wounded in the attack and treated at the scene, Chaus said.
Throughout the day, Russian forces also hit multiple communities across the Chernihiv region.
In the Liubech community, a house and vehicle were damaged. In the Horodnia community, “Gerbera” drone attacks damaged transportation vehicles on forestry grounds. In the Ripky community, a truck caught fire following an attack.
The village of Shyshkivka in the Koriukivka community was attacked again with FPV drones, setting a home, outbuildings, and a motorcycle on fire. A 45-year-old resident was wounded.
According to Chaus, the region recorded 50 attacks and 76 explosions over the past 24 hours.
The Ukrainian Air Force said Russia launched 209 attack drones overnight beginning at 6 p.m. on Monday, including Shahed drones, jet-powered variants, Gerbera, Italmas and Parody decoy drones.
