National security is paramount above all, and air and missile defense systems ensure the safety of war­fighters and civilians alike.

Operation Epic Fury and Iran’s response to U.S. and Israeli attacks are providing early lessons and future case studies for militaries, policymakers and contractors.

The intended strategy of “decapitation” against the Iranian regime was executed by an Israel-U.S. coalition that coordinated military raids while Iran counter-attacked with its own show of force through unmanned loitering munitions and missiles.

Iran did not spare any Gulf Cooperation Council country from reprisals that employed saturation tactics using low-flying drones and missiles. Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Oman — some of which have limited allegiance to the United States — suffered attacks that resulted in supply chain issues and disruption to their societies.
